Here you go DOD_AVANTI

Avanti - Invade and defend

Objective: Allies start as the attacker.
Axis team starts as the defender. The attacking
team starts at the bottom of the hill and must
take control of the town by moving uphill and
taking control of Command Points sequentially.
The defending team simply tries to hold out as
long as they can. Once the attackers succeed,
teams swap, and play begins again.

Command Points are captured by taking the flag
from the previous point and carrying it to the
next. When a Command Point is secured, the flag
required to capture the next Command Point
becomes available on top of it. For example, the flag
needed to capture Command Point 3 will always
spawn at Command Point 2. Dropped flags return
after 90 seconds.

Attacking team - 10 points per Command Point
Defending team - Points are awarded over time
for defending the Church.

Avanti made available to you by Mr. White.
The map itself has not been altered in any way,
only the entities have been changed to support DoD.

Thanks to Whitewolf and Orbit.

-Added extra flags which are located in the back of attackers spawn as shown in the image below. Setting low gravity or boosting won't allow you to grab an extra flag. There is an invisible wall preventing you from doing this. The only way to get extra flags in the event the flag for the capture point is lost, is to give yourself amx_noclip mode. Only high level admins or admins with the correct powers will be able to resolve this issue. When giving yourself noclip mode, you can float through walls and grab the necessary flag(left to right(1-4 capture points)). Admins with these capabilities should use this format to noclip yourself, grab the appropriate flag and either capture the lost flag point or throw it back in game.

This plugin you will need for noclip mode, simply put in your plugins folder and declare the plugin in your plugins.ini file. These commands will intergrate with your amxmodmenu or amx_help in console.

When using noclip admins, you may have to put your name exactly as your alias otherwise it wont work. This is the first time this map has been released to the public, no other place you can find it. I have tested it before I posted just to make sure it has all the necessary items you require to run this map. Since you already have the two main wad files, tfc2 and tfc, I didn't include them with this zip file.

**Note** You can blow up the back of the church with the satchel located by the well by first command point.

Thanks!  It looks like fun, hopefully we will be able to test it out sometime soon.

This is another Osaki, Dustbowl type map, but I think it is one of the better ones.

In TFC this was the Engineer map of all time. Plus it is really good because it switches sides which I wish dustbowl and osaki would do. Anyways Avanti is a lot of turning corridors so I think it would be a really good map for us to have since you can't just set up MG's and Snipers and go to sleep. Nades will pretty much take them out of commission so we would get a lot more use out of rifles and smg's on this map.

I have to say as a avid tfc player (still play). This is one of the better attack/defend maps. I also think this would be WAY better than osaki (which is horrible) and dustbowl (which people in dod complain too much on the 3rd round about dying).

The layout is much better, while sniper can still be used as well as mg's just like Sentry Guns. If the map was done right with spawn points I think it'd be a great addition to the server and I'd love to test it out if need be. Plus it looks a lot more like a WW2 set up such as in Italy than the other tfc maps you have. To top it're defending a church.

Has anyone played it? Do you take a flag to the cap or just cap? If so it better be a 2man cap or a loooong one. DoD players need to realize atk/def maps are about the cap..not your score. you will die and you will die a lot if you are attacking. its suppose to be hard.

to end my rant...add it.

I agree, I remember playing this map. Lots of fun twists and turns.
