This map looks totally AWESOME. I love a good snow map!

From the fpsbanana site (download link):
http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/126938

Info from the creator:
"This is the final version of the map. It took me very long time to create a nice environnement under the GoldSrc, due to the limits of the engine.
The map is very high detailed for Day of Deafeat 1.3 and the gameplay changes depends which objective is running. Totally 4 objectives:

1. The Radio communication center
2. The Bridges of the Trainstation
3. The Laboratory
4. The Heavy Water Facility named Vemork which is the name of the map

Time limit 10:00 minutes"

Here are a few screen shots and a video by the author - you can tell he put a LOT of effort into it!

Hey Bob

Super easy, go to the linked site and download the files. Once downloaded, you just have to add the files from the download into the corresponding DoD folders. An IMPORTANT thing to note, is that you shouldn't just drag the whole folder into your DoD directory, as this will overwrite you current folder contents (unless you are on windows 7 and then you can merge.)

Safest way to do it is to open up for example the Overviews folder on the zip file, copy the files inside, and then paste the file INSIDE your DoD overview folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\STEAMNAME\day of defeat\dod\overviews)

After you have copied all of the new files into your corresponding DoD folders, open up Day of Defeat and go to the main menu. There you just have to click on New Game, and a box should come up asking which map you want to play on (default is <random>). Choose Vermok and have at it!

Let me know if you have any problems!

Judah,
When I open the zip file I have the following:

gfx
maps
models
overviews
sound
sprites

Do I need to open each of these from the zip file and copy and paste into the same files in my DOD folder?

Bob, you need to extract the contents of those particular folders into their respective folders. This means the contents of the GFX folder in the downloaded file should be extracted into the GFX folder in your DoD folder :)
