Here's my newest release: DoD_Iceburg

King of the Mountain style map. One control point with a long capture time.

Objectives :
Allies and Axis: Hold off the enemy while holding The Hill long enough to secure the ability to be sighted by a passing scout plane.

Capture Points:
1 - 3 person 15 second Capture Point.

Scoring:
100 points for capture

Background Story:
After a long battle at sea, the Axis and Allies forces sank each others battleship!
They had drafted deep into northern waters and the only land nearby is an iceburg!
It is you and your teammates job to secure the iceburg and await rescue!

Spawning:
All spawn points are in the water facing the iceburg. I highly advise not going AFK while still on a team or your death count will rack up fast.

Will this be another "nade fest" map?   :doh!:

 Good job Naecroknight.

Bob, I had that exact same question while designing it. The only way nades will be effective on this map is by air burst. The sloping of the hill goes in several different directions all around it and sends nades off in random directions. Also with the longer cap I delayed the spawn times for each team so that if you do 'team down' the other team you have a chance for a cap. If you drop this into your DoD and run it as New Game > DoD_Iceburg you can play around with it. It is actually my favorite map that I have made because of the terrain work.

What did you expect from an iceburg.

extract it into a separate folder and open the .res file in notepad. Delete all the files in your dod that are listed in that .res and than copy over the ones from the .rar I provided. More than likely one of your files got corrupted at some point. Probably if your game crashed once while it was in use. If that doesnt fix it Spirit might have some better ideas.
