Errr, fortune passes everywhere or is it all about percentages, or hedging oneself, or positioning for "the next great game..."
Having successful games run through STEAM has to give them some leverage/bargaining power with other firms I would think ...

Actually...I'm pretty sure that unless this is a recompile for Source all of the RO site stuff says they are using the Unreal engine...

Wonder if you have to own UT2k4...the original RO looks like it was a UT mod...

It's not a Source or VALVe game, it's just being distributed via Steam.

It's running on the Unreal 2.5 engine. Tripwire got the whole license and everything, so buying RO will get your RO no strings attached.

Tripwire also got Unreal 3.0, so I'm sure they'll have fun with that.
